Surfing in Pleasure Point last week reminded me of surfing this famous point in Noosa, Australia. Of course, seeing my friend from down under did too. So did surfing Linda Mar on Saturday in a shortie. Yep, you heard it folks, I braved the frigid waters of Pacifica in a short sleeved, short legged, 2mm wetsuit, in April. Now if that isn't proof of global warming, what is? The air was a boiling 82 degrees and I was on a longboard, so I somehow managed to stay comfortable throughout my two and a half hour session. It was a glorious reminder that summer is near.
No much more to say these days. Surfing has been great when timed right. K and I have trekked down to Santa Cruz once a week for the past couple months and I've confirmed my love of longboarding and my need for a new board even more. Stewie is just getting tired and I feel cruel taking the old guy out all the time. Other than that, I've been overhauling my career and on a mission to shoot more, write less, surf more--and prosper.
Cheers!
